Everybody knows that most people like warm and sunny weather this time of year. Having just returned from the greenhouses I know that spinach likes it too. Spinach will be in all the CSA boxes this week and for the next little while. It looks like we will also have enough micro-greens for the boxes as well this week so you can have a choice of salads.
The mild weather has also helped to settle the snow quite a bit which will hopefully enable us to get some pruning done in the fruit trees. I also will be planting more spring greens this week in the other cold frames.The season can change very quickly from waiting for snow to melt to lots of work to do. This impending work load also reduces the length of my weekly newsletters. Enjoy the sunny weather.
