The CSA box today has some new green crops from the greenhouses. Next week we will start with field grown radishes, Asian greens, rhubarb, and other lettuces and salad greens. The days of root vegetables are almost over for a bit. Despite the constant rain things are looking really good in the fields. We should be able to add a few new crops each week for a while. Summer turnips are a couple weeks away, The first sno-peas will be starting in about five weeks. Field grown kale and chard is about two weeks away with kohlrabi, arrowhead cabbage, and broccoli probably ready in June. I plan to plant zucchini plants outside under row covers today or tomorrow. They would start producing in about six weeks. It is very busy now here but things are good. Have a good week. ted
